Everyday nutrition
A plan written for your kitchen, not a chart off a shelf
Not everyone arrives with a diagnosis. Plenty of people simply want to eat better, feel less tired, and stop second-guessing every meal — and want someone qualified to tell them what is actually worth doing.
Sound familiar?
- Every plan you find assumes food you do not eat
- Cooking separately from the family is not realistic
- Advice online contradicts itself constantly
- Energy that dips through the afternoon
- Knowing roughly what to do, and not knowing where to start
A healthy eating pattern is only healthy if you can actually keep it up.
Dt. Rupali SinghDo dietitians just hand over meal plans?
A meal plan is part of it, but on its own it is close to useless. What makes the difference is the reasoning behind it — knowing why a swap works, so you can make the next one yourself when the plan meets real life.
So yes, you get a plan. You also get to understand it.
What personalised actually means here
- Your food. Bihari, Bengali, North Indian, South Indian, Jain, vegetarian, eggetarian — the plan is built from what your kitchen already cooks.
- Your routine. Night shifts, long commutes, frequent travel, hostel mess food, working from home. These change everything and are usually ignored.
- Your budget. Nothing in my plans requires imported food or expensive supplements. If a supplement is genuinely needed for a medical reason, I will say so and explain why.
- Your household. One plan that works for a shared pot, rather than a separate diet that isolates you at your own table.
- What you dislike. A plan built on food you hate is a plan with a two-week lifespan.
My nutrition philosophy
I will never recommend something that damages your budget, your peace of mind, or how you feel about food. Healthy eating should not feel like a punishment, and a restrictive plan you resent is not a healthy plan however good its macros look.
The aim is a relationship with food that supports your body and your mind — and that you are still keeping a year from now.
Family and household nutrition
Often the most useful work I do is with one person who cooks for five. Changing what comes out of one kitchen changes the health of everyone eating from it, and children who grow up eating well largely stay that way.
Where I work
Online across India, and home visits in selected areas of Patna by prior appointment. Home visits are useful when it helps to look in the actual kitchen — at what is in the cupboard, what oil is in use, and how meals really get made.
How I work
We start from a full week of your actual eating, not an idealised version. Then we change a small number of things, keep what works, and drop what does not. You should always know why something is on your plan.
