Dt. Rupali Singh

Clinical Dietitian & Nutritionist · Patna

My journey with food started with a diet, and ended up becoming my work.

Years ago I was a postgraduate student struggling to eat well. From the outside I looked fine. Inside I had low energy, poor digestion, and a difficult relationship with food.

So I went and qualified as a dietitian, because I wanted to learn how to get healthy without restriction and obsession. Two degrees and a great many unpaid internship hours later, I did.

You do not have to choose between eating well and enjoying food. I am here to show you exactly how.

I will never recommend anything that damages your budget, your peace of mind, or how you feel about food. A healthy eating pattern is only healthy if you can actually keep it up.

What I help with

Where are you starting from?

BMI is a rough guide, not a diagnosis — it says nothing about muscle, where you carry weight, or what your reports show. It is still a reasonable place to begin a conversation.

BMI is a screening figure, not a diagnosis. It cannot tell muscle from fat, it says nothing about where you carry weight, and it is read differently for South Asian adults, in pregnancy, and for athletes. Bring it to a consultation rather than acting on it alone.
